Winston: My Hero

We all love Sir Winston Churchill. I’ve been sick and he’s been adorable today. I thought I’d remind everyone with 5 reasons why we love him. Also, lets get real and he does have some areas of improvement. I’ll include 5 dislikes too.

Likes:
1. Who doesn’t love a moustache?! Then put it on a dog! Hello? Yeah.
2. He loves to cuddle, esp on bellies and wherever he can wedge himself otherwise.
3. He’s a hit with all other dogs and humans. Very social without being obnoxious (i.e. face lickers out there… i.e. Joey).
4. Being an only child, he will entertain himself for hours if given the right toys and play area. Occasionally he will bring something for you to examine and then move on to the next item. It's like he's saying, "I'm bored with this now, but maybe someone like you would still like it."
5. Facial expressions for days. He is judging you-- and when he is speaking in his head, he is British and over it.
Dislikes (yes, yes, impossible I know):
1. Winston loves shoes. All kinds of shoes. Sandals, pumps, strappy sandals, knee high boots, Indian little shoes, etc. This is sometimes an issue.
2. 6am wakeups. Not often, but sometimes somebody had too much juice box the night before.
3. “Confetti parties” in which paper of any kind is shredded. Although I did once receive a Valentine (shown).
4. Chewing rawhides in laps… Everyone’s laps. If you have sat on the couch for more than five minutes, Winston will show you this game.
5. Playing with a ball right next to a dresser or TV stand over and over not thinking it will YET AGAIN roll underneath it. There is a whole production of whining (which is actually cute) expecting the ball with answer or return on its own. The ball has yet to respond, but fortunately we have all taken extensive training for what to do in these times of panic and horror.
Cheers Winston!
Also, yes, I now see that this appears borderline creepy-dog-lady and I don't plan to write anything about my dog again.
